This was an absolute tail-wagging shoot! Sophie’s Apawthecary is a family-owned business based in Tallahassee, Florida that I have recently had the opportunity to work with. If you’ve been around the blog or my email newsletter, you probably know Elaina from Drop Supplements, well, Sophie’s Apawthecary is run by Elaina’s sister, Erica! It was such a pleasure to work with another one of their family businesses.
Sophie’s Apawthecary is a pet care company that started from Erica’s unwavering passion for animals. With a heart as big as her love for her seven rescue pets, Erica’s dedication to providing top-notch products for furry companions earned her the prestigious Golden ACE Award for her outstanding community service.
For this shoot, I not only took on the photography but also helped produce the shoot and hold a casting call, or maybe in this case it should be casting paw, for two sweet pups. I collaborated closely with Sophie’s Apawthecary team to craft their shot list and visual ideas to capture the essence of their brand.
Meet Nellie, the camera-savvy pup owned by Alyssa of ATL Bucketlist, and Camp, the treat-loving English Labrador. These furry models brought boundless energy and charm to our shoot, embodying the spirit of Sophie’s Apawthecary with every wag of their tails.
