As spring rolls around, I think we’re all BEYOND ready to get out and about again. Perhaps the one thing I’ve missed the most between the pandemic and post partum life is dining out. Sure, my husband and I love to cook and we’re not too shabby at it if I do say so myself. Yet, there’s something to be said for the pleasurable experience of food someone else prepared for you. It’s truly always better! And, there’s no dishes to clean up afterwards.
These days, everyone’s looking for new delicious spots with great outdoor spaces. So I thought it was the perfect time to highlight one of my favorites, Valenza. Nestled in the heart of Brookhaven’s bustling “downtown” district, Valenza boasts a perfect date night atmosphere with incredible cuisine. The authentic Italian faire is inventively crafted by Chef Matt and his team. It was a pleasure working with Chef a few years ago. It was very clear to me how passionate he is about the food that he creates.
All of Valenza’s pasta is made in-house and a seasonal rotation of new pasta dishes means there’s always something new to discover.
While the interior is ultra cozy, the outdoor patio is just as romantic and beautiful, it feels like you’re in a garden!
If you’re lucky enough to catch the butternut squash ravioli on the menu, I highly recommend.
So if you’re looking for a hidden Italian gem in one of Atlanta’s most adorable neighborhoods, give Valenza a try, your taste buds will thank you.
